ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES

The Sunday School is the primary teaching ministry of the Lighthouse Baptist Church. We should not think that Sunday School is "just for the kids." All of us need to be taught the Word of God, so that we might continue to grow in grace and knowledge. Our adult Sunday School classes are designed to teach the Bible effectively and in a way that applies to the living level of our daily lives. Our Sunday School groups also provide a unique form of fellowship inside the church.

Currently, our two adult classes are:

THE BEST YEARS CLASS. This class is for our senior saints, and is taught by retired pastor Charles Chandler. The suggested age group for this class is 60 and better. This class will also provide fellowship opportunities and activities throughout the year.

THE VICTORY BIBLE CLASS. This class is taught by Pastor Rasbeary and covers all adults under the suggested age of 60.

More adult classes will be added as the Lord provides!

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year, our church has special events designed to help, strengthen, equip and encourage the members of LBC. Some of these events are specifically for adults, while others are for the entire family. These include:

Parents' Night Out. Pastor and Mrs. Rasbeary provide free childcare so that couples can go out on a date, or so that parents can run errands, etc. This ministry is ONLY for church members and is not open to the general public.

Sweetheart Banquet (for Valentine's Day).
Men of the Word meetings.
Ladies' meetings.
Annual Ladies' Spectacular.
Christian Heritage Conference.
Mother's Day Banquet.
Wise Homebuilders Family Conference.
Memorial Day Picnic and Family Day.
Independence Day BBQ and fireworks.
End of Summer Family cookout.
SNAC (Sunday Night After Church) Gym Night.
Revival meetings.
Christmas Party.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE

Our church has many opportunities for members who want to serve the Lord. There is always an opportunity to serve in one of our various ministries: Sunday School, nursery, bus ministry, ushers, music, children's church, Vacation Bible School, yard maintenance, soul-winning, etc. We encourage the adults of LBC to get involved in the ministry of the church.
